Adam and Eve
Adán y Eva
In the beginning, God created a beautiful garden called Eden. He made trees, flowers, and animals. God created the first man, Adam, from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. God put Adam in the Garden of Eden to take care of it. God said Adam could eat fruit from any tree except one - the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God said, 'If you eat from that tree, you will die.' God saw that Adam was alone, so He created a woman named Eve to be his companion. Adam and Eve lived happily in the garden. One day, a serpent came to Eve. The serpent was clever and said, 'Did God really say you can't eat from any tree?' Eve answered, 'We can eat from all trees except one. God said we will die if we eat from that tree.' The serpent lied and said, 'You won't die! God knows that if you eat it, you will become like Him.' Eve looked at the fruit. It looked good to eat. She took some and ate it. She also gave some to Adam, and he ate it too. Suddenly, they realized they had disobeyed God. They felt ashamed and tried to hide. But you cannot hide from God. God was sad that they disobeyed, and they had to leave the beautiful garden.
