Moses and the Red Sea
Mois茅s y el Mar Rojo
The people of Israel were slaves in Egypt. God chose Moses to lead them to freedom. Moses went to Pharaoh and said, 'Let my people go!' But Pharaoh refused. God sent ten plagues to Egypt. Finally, Pharaoh let the people go. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. But then Pharaoh changed his mind and chased them with his army. The Israelites came to the Red Sea. They were trapped between the sea and Pharaoh's army. The people were afraid. But Moses said, 'Don't be afraid! God will save us!' Moses stretched out his staff over the sea. God sent a strong wind. The waters divided, making a path of dry ground through the sea. The Israelites walked through on dry land with walls of water on both sides. When Pharaoh's army tried to follow, the waters came back and covered them. God saved His people through the Red Sea.
El pueblo de Israel era esclavo en Egipto. Dios eligi贸 a Mois茅s para guiarlos a la libertad. Mois茅s fue al Fara贸n y dijo: '隆Deja ir a mi pueblo!' Pero el Fara贸n se neg贸.
